By using our website, submitting a quote request, opting in to text messages, or booking a service with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website, request a quote, opt in to receive text messages from us, or book services with DetailHaus.
By using our website or services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, do not use this website, do not submit your phone number, and do not opt in to our text messaging program.
We do not knowingly collect information from or provide services to anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. A parent or legal guardian who is 18 or older must handle any service request involving a vehicle driven by a minor.
2. Our Services
DetailHaus provides vehicle detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating services from our studio in Ansonia, Connecticut. Services are provided by appointment only. Specific services, inclusions, and timelines are described at the time we provide your quote.
3. Quotes, Pricing & Appointments
- Quotes are provided based on the information you give us about your vehicle and, where applicable, an in-person inspection.
- A quote is an estimate. Final pricing may be adjusted if the condition of the vehicle differs materially from what was described, and we will discuss any change with you before performing additional work.
- Appointments are held for your vehicle specifically. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as possible.
- We reserve the right to decline service on any vehicle, including where the condition of the vehicle makes the requested result unachievable or unsafe to perform.
4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from DetailHaus at that number. These terms apply to our text messaging program.
Program description
DetailHaus sends transactional and service-related text messages, including:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Quote and estimate follow-ups
- Updates on the status of your vehicle while it is in our care
- Review requests after your service is complete
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with us, your quote request, and your appointment activity.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to each message sent to or received from DetailHaus. DetailHaus does not charge for text messages, but your wireless carrier may. Please check with your carrier for details about your messaging and data plan.
How to opt out
You can cancel messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you want to rejoin, you can opt in again by submitting a new quote request or by contacting us directly.

Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers are not responsible for any delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages, and DetailHaus makes no guarantee that any message will be delivered successfully or within a particular timeframe. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and to network availability, and is outside of our control.
Supported carriers and devices
Our messaging program is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier support may change, and not all handsets or wireless carriers support all messaging features. Message delivery may not be available on all networks.
Your consent
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from DetailHaus.
- You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile phone number you provide, or that you have permission from the account holder to opt that number in.
- You agree to notify us if your mobile number changes or is reassigned.
- Mobile information and text messaging opt-in consent will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Your Vehicle
- You represent that you are the owner of the vehicle you bring to us, or that you have the owner's authorization to have the work performed.
- Please remove personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before drop-off. DetailHaus is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle.
- You are responsible for telling us about any pre-existing damage, aftermarket paint or bodywork, wraps, prior coatings, or mechanical issues that could affect the work. Some conditions — including failing clear coat, prior repaints, or heavy defects — can limit results or make certain services inadvisable.
- Vehicles should be picked up at the agreed time. Vehicles left beyond the agreed pickup window may be subject to a storage fee.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of your invoice. Payment card information is handled by our payment processor; we do not store complete card numbers on our systems.
7. Warranty & Results
Ceramic coatings we install carry a manufacturer warranty according to the terms of the coating product and its duration, provided the vehicle is registered with the manufacturer and maintained according to the care guidelines we give you. Warranty coverage may be affected by improper washing, automatic tunnel washes, abrasive products, or unrepaired damage.
Paint correction improves the appearance of paint but does not remove all defects. Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat, and defects that cannot be safely removed given the amount of clear coat present, may remain after correction. We will tell you what is realistically achievable for your vehicle before we begin work.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DetailHaus's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services or your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
DetailHaus is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, or diminished value, arising out of or relating to our services or this website.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photographs of our work, logos, and branding — is the property of DetailHaus CT LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, or to attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
10. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, our cookie and tracking practices, and our data security practices. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
